MPAC
Ruth Rodgers (MPAC) paints in a variety of media but always comes back to pastels for their flexibility, immediacy, and vibrance. She was the president of the PAC for eight years and continues to participate as the ICAN conference and online session coordinator. Originally from Ontario, Ruth now lives on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast.
Ruth Rodgers paints landscapes and people but is mostly interested in the magic of creating the illusion of three dimensions on a two-dimensional surface. She enjoys applying her understanding of the way the human eye and brain function to create this sensation.
