Heather Laws Award – New for Online Show

There is a new award to be added to the Annual Members Online Exhibition to recognize and encourage PAC members who love to paint animals.  This Award is in honour of Heather Laws.  Please refer to the attached pdf which tells Heather’s story and how this award came to be.  Due to the unique nature of this award, it will not be eligible toward PAC status.  A more detailed summary of the award criteria will be provided as part of the Call to Entry information posted on the PAC website.

The 34th Purely Pastel  Exhibition at the Federation Gallery

You may be thinking, did we not just have the 11th Online Show?  Yes we did and we are trying to avoid a conflict with the 34th Purely Pastel Exhibition. The show dates for this will be Tuesday October 8th to Sunday October 20th, 2024 with the opening and reception planned for the afternoon of Saturday October 13th at the Federation Gallery.  More details will be shared in the spring newsletters and membership emails.  We just wanted you to know the timelines so you can plan accordingly.

On behalf of your colleagues working behind the scenes to bring you some great shows in 2024, thank you, and  may you  find some joy in painting as the birds sing and the sun warms your spirit.
