My work tells the life of people, their joys, their sorrows and their emotions.
Born in 1958 in Montreal, I spent my youth drawing characters and portraits inspired by my family and my friends.
Parallel to my professional activities, my interest in art continued to grow through the course and attendance at art galleries and museums.
Self-taught portraitist, I decided a few years ago to enroll in drawing classes to perfect my techniques before choosing a medium. With Mine de Rien (Art Workshop) I developed my passion for portrait and characters through various mediums such as pencil, charcoal, pastel and acrylic.
I chose to focus primarily on pastel and acrylic and had internships with other artists to improve myself in terms of color, textures and different products. In 2016, I decided to devote myself entirely to my art and am currently working on development of portraits and life scenes.
