Welcome to the ICAN 2025 registration website! This biannual conference features Canada's top pastel artists and provides an opportunity to learn, grow, and make connections with other pastel artists from across Canada and beyond. We are back once again with a stellar line-up of sessions and activities to stimulate you over the five-day conference.

You are welcome to attend all five days (May 28 through June 1, 2025), or choose to attend fewer days. There is no conference fee for PAC members: you pay only for the sessions you choose. Non-members must pay a one-time conference fee (in addition to session fees) of $50 OR join the PAC as a member--also $50. An easy choice, get all the benefits of membership as well as attending the conference. To join PAC go to Membership/Become a Member for details and registration process.

The conference will be held at the Neilson Park Creative Centre, at 56 Neilson Drive, Etobicoke, ON M9C 1V7. Our 35th open juried exhibition, Purely Pastel, will be on show at the same venue throughout the conference dates and beyond. This lovely venue has parking available and is also on the TTC/bus routes. Access to restaurants for a quick lunch is somewhat limited without a car, so you may choose to pack a lunch if you are attending all day. We have twenty-nine sessions, open studio space, and five free events! Dive into the details below and start planning your ICAN experience. The registration deadline (for cancellation refunds) is May 1st, 2025. Review the ICAN 2025 cancellation policy for more details.

If you are unable to complete your registration and payment online, contact Gloria Burgoin at to arrange for payment via cheque. Please note that your name will not be added to session lists until payment has been received.

A selection of easels will be available to those who need one. Need supplies? Pre-order your workshop supplies from Studio Six or Wyndham Art Supplies at a discounted rate* and have them delivered to the conference! See Studio Six offer details. Workshop Schedule

ICAN Hotel Rates

Good news for those traveling to ICAN! We have arranged the following GREAT deal at the Monte Carlo Inn, Toronto West. The hotel is 5 minutes by car, 18 minutes by bus, 26 min walking, from the conference venue at Neilson Park Creative Centre and several restaurants are along the way between the two.

They have extended this price to us:

Tues, May 27; Wed, May 28; Thur, May 29 & Sun, Jun 1st:
1 Queen bed, $95 + taxes
2 Queen beds, $115 + taxes (based on 2 people, if 4, there will be an extra charge)
1 King bed, $115 + taxes

Friday May 30 and Saturday, May 31st:
1 Queen bed, $125 + taxes
2 Queen beds, $150 + taxes
1 King bed, $150 + taxes

People will have to phone the hotel directly at 905-273-9500 to make the reservation and will have to ask for the special ICAN 2025 rate.
